Welcome to Lamb!

An eco space nestled in the Rows in Chester, a place for you to relax and kick back.

We are Georgia and Billie, partners in crime alongside part timer Eric the Frenchie our in house ops manager.

We have worked together in many locations for 20  years and feel very lucky to do something we both feel so passionate about!

We believe every guest is a V.I.P and we help you find a cut and colour that not only looks amazing but is the right maintenance for your needs and that it cares for your hair. We work one to one with each client taking you through the whole journey.

We each specialise in our own field.  Covering precision cutting, all colour, pre lightening, Racoon hair extensions, hair smoothing and perming…yes perming; and not an 80’s crispy curl In sight!

Last but not least we have gone back to our roots and will be using Redken for all our colouring and styling. Over the years we have used many different brands and we strongly believe this to be the very best there is!

N.B Everyone needs a skin test at least 48 hours before colour, takes two seconds and allows us to have a proper chat so we can brain storm together!

So pop in for a coffee, locally sourced, we have done the barista training.... or something stronger,  no training...

Our beautiful courtyard welcomes you, especially in the summer months when our wisteria is in full bloom; a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your bubbles!

We can't wait to see you!

G and B xx

Secret Lamb Garden

Our secret garden is full of Wisteria and Clematis hidden away from the City Centre, if you look hard enough you might see our resident woodpidgeon  or blackbird cooeing away in the Wisteria.

While your colour is developing, take time out chilling with a glass of wine or other beverages breathing in the Lavender aromas.

LAMB ECO

At Lamb, the world, nature and the environment are super important to us..

As Directors we have to be responsible for our footprint on the environment, dealing with chemicals and products everyday.

We are a proud member of the Green Salon Collective, and we say NO to landfill!

Our key goal is to recycle and reuse salon waste as much as we can, focusing on hair and metal.

The hair is recycled to be used in 10 different ways, including being made into huge hair booms to clean up oil spills in our oceans all over the world and into our gardens and composting to help crops grow.

We recycle all the used colour foil and salon metals, this includes tubes of colour, hairspray cans and many styling products, so nothing with chemicals on goes down the sink or into landfill.

Hair Booms for Oil Spill

HairBooms are made from hair that is any length or colour which is then tightly packed into cotton tubes. They stop the oil from spreading saving wildlife and the natural landscape.

REDKEN

Redken relaunched in 2021 focusing  on sustainability and inclusivity.

Their entire hair  brand has been renovated with cradle to cradle certified packaging that's recycyclable and comprised of at least 93% recycled plastic rising to 100% recycled plastic by 2030.

Redken is 100% CRUELTY FREE and does not test on animals.

Redken also has a Vegan Range called Redken Nature + Science plus they are free of sulphates parabens and silicone free.

- About us -

Georgia Denton

I'm a lover of fashion (and my dog), obsessed I've been told! Fashion is in my blood. My Mum was a fashion designer, my Dad and brother are hairdressers and my uncle is a fashion photographer.

I even tried to go against the grain and traveled extensively as an airline stewardess determined to be different but I knew it wasn't going to be for the long haul (sorry)

I wanted to be in London so I could surround myself with all that it has to offer, the hustle and bustle, the people and the clothes!

I knew by this time hairdressing was my path and I trained with Sasoons where I really fell in love with my job for the first time. I moved around to other big named salons where I gained added experience of precision cutting and styling. I've worked for London Fashion Week, photoshoots and magazines.

Hair is just another item of clothing, getting it right is magic and can actually make you look 10 years younger.

Even though I loved being in London, I'm definitely more at home in the country with Eric at my side. I have a deep love of animals, their welfare and the countryside. It's so important to all take notice and do our bit where we can to protect our planet.

Billie Crago

I started hairdressing at school, cutting anyone that would take a risk!

I've always loved how your hair and makeup can change how you feel and would change my look daily from punk, goth to new romantic to name a few phases! Fascinated by the confidence it gave me I naturally drifted into hairdressing as I wanted other people to feel that too.

I moved to the big smoke which opened up so many opertunities. I ended up travelling all over the world sharing my techniques with other hairdressers as a Redken Platform Artist (I could write a book about that!...) and then met Georgia.

Instantly attracted to her personality and her style of hairdressing, we hit it off even though we are very different....!

Next for us was opening a Salon in North London in a huge old pub where we were for 10 years. We loved  our time there but Georgia wanted to be close to family so like a best friend should I followed her to Chester, she just can't shake me off!

Now we're doing it again, not a massive team as before but just the two of us.

A truly relaxed enviroment, Lamb has the vibe of our homes and that's what we want you to feel. Like you've popped to a friends place for a coffee, however with us you also leave feeling revived and with great hair!
